Leap Motion may lose the ability to determine orientation of the hands. The hands may appear upside down or not at all.
- Open the Leap Motion Control Panel by clicking on the small Leap sensor icon (select “up arrow” next to system time) on the Windows taskbar (lower right) on the computer screen.
- Select "Tracking Tab" and make sure "Auto Orient Tracking" is checked.
- Click "Apply" then "Ok" and Launch Vivid Vision to verify the hands are oriented correctly.
- If "Auto Orient Tracking" is checked, then you want to un-check it and click "Apply" (lower right)
- Click on the "Reverse Tracking" button and then check "Auto Orient Tracking"
- Click "Apply" then "Ok" and Launch Vivid Vision to verify the hands are oriented correctly.
Cleaning Leap Motion Sensor
- Use a dry lens cloth to clean the Leap Sensor. Do not use liquid or spray cleansers.
- Gently clean the front of the Leap Sensor with the cloth to remove fingerprints.
