①Low battery or pairing error.
Please check if the controller is ON and charged. If the controller is ON, refer to the following LED indicators when using Vivid Vision:
- Green: Ready for use.
- Blue: Currently in pairing mode, searching for the headset.
- Blue flashing: Indicates the controller is in "Pairing Mode" and is used to pair with the headset. Pressing the "App" and "System" buttons will activate it simultaneously.
- Red flashing: Indicates low battery.
- Orange: The controller is currently charging. After charging is complete, the LED will change to white.
- Off: No illumination when the power is off.
②Pairing error or out of sensor area.
Check in the Steam VR app's dashboard if the controllers are recognized and tracked (indicated by a green icon). If a gray icon is displayed, it means the controllers are either turned off, not currently being tracked, out of the base station's line of sight, or in pairing mode. Refer to the LED indicators on the controllers to determine their current status.
③Version mismatch in the Steam app.
If your controllers are tracked normally in Steam VR, and you can see virtual hands when wearing the headset, but they disappear after launching Vivid Vision, you may need to update the Steam client by following these steps:
1. Launch Steam
2. Click on "File"
3. Click on "Check for Steam Client Updates"
4. Steam will identify if any updates are available and apply them automatically.
